Our Story

Black Enthusiasts.
Born from Passion.
Built for Everyone.

Blusiast began with a simple idea — that everyone deserves to feel welcomed, represented, and thrilled. We're a global family of diverse theme park and roller coaster enthusiasts.

How It Started

The Culture Rides With Us

Founded in 2022, Blusiast — short for Black Enthusiasts — grew out of something much simpler.

The idea started on September 7, 2020, at Kings Island. What began as a conversation turned into a vision for a space where Black coaster and theme park fans could feel seen, connected, and fully part of the enthusiast community.

From there, it moved from an idea into action.

On June 18, 2022, during Juneteenth weekend, Blusiast hosted its first official meetup at Kings Dominion. That day marked the real beginning — not just a group chat, but a community showing up in person, riding together, and building something that felt like it was theirs.

Since then, what started as a small group chat has grown into a global community. Families, adults, and teens from across the country and beyond, all brought together by a shared love of coasters and the experiences that come with them.

The goal has stayed the same from the beginning: to educate, inspire, and create a space where everyone feels welcome.

Because the thrill of a great coaster belongs to everyone.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

Integrity

We show up, do what we say, and lead with honesty in everything we do — on the road and in the community.

Diversity & Inclusion

All races, ages, and backgrounds are welcome here. Representation matters — in the park, in the photos, and in the conversation.

Trust & Community

A safe, welcoming space built on genuine connection. We look out for each other — every member, every trip, every time.

Joy & Passion

We are unapologetically enthusiastic. The thrill of a great ride, shared with great people, is what this is all about.

The People Behind It

Raised in the DMV, he's been an avid visitor to Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens, Williamsburg and the defunct Six Flags America. He credits Drachen Fire for igniting his love of roller coasters. His favorites include : The Voyage, Eejanaika, El Toro, Iron Gwazi, and Pantherian. Almost 600 coasters to his resume with over 11,0000 rides on Pantherian.
